LONDON — Olympic 800 metres champion Keely Hodgkinson and 1,500m rival Josh Kerr headline the London Diamond League 2026 at the London Stadium on 18 July, with both Britons targeting world records, the BBC reported.
The Wanda Diamond League meet, the latest leg of the 2026 series, is scheduled for Saturday evening at the London Stadium. According to the official Diamond League schedule, the London programme features the men's and women's 100m, 1,500m, 800m, pole vault and discus, alongside para events.
Hodgkinson, the reigning Olympic 800m champion, and Kerr, the 2023 world 1,500m champion, are among the marquee names the BBC flagged as pursuing record-breaking performances on home soil. Neither athlete's target has been confirmed as achieved; the competition is set for 18 July.
Final results were not available at dispatch and any record claims remain unverified until official results are published after the event.
