LONDON — Italy's Jannik Sinner retained the Wimbledon men's singles title on 12 July 2026, beating Germany's Alexander Zverev 6–7(7–9), 7–6(7–2), 6–3, 6–4 in the final at the All England Club, according to BBC Sport and official tournament records.
The top seed recovered from a first-set tie-break loss to claim his second consecutive Wimbledon championship and a fourth Grand Slam singles crown. Zverev, the reigning French Open champion, was chasing a career Grand Slam but was beaten in a rematch of the 2025 final.
In the women's singles final, the Czech Republic's Linda Nosková defeated compatriot Karolina Muchová to win her first major title, the BBC and WTA reported.
Sinner, 24, becomes the first man to defend the Wimbledon title since Novak Djokovic in 2023.
