Editorial standards & corrections
These are the standards every article on Source Reporters is held to.
Accuracy and sourcing
We report facts we can stand behind. Claims are attributed to named sources, official statements, or established reporting, and we distinguish clearly between what is confirmed and what is claimed. Headlines must be supported by the story beneath them.
AI-assisted journalism
Source Reporters is a technology-assisted newsroom: we use AI tools to research, draft and curate stories, working under editorial oversight and to the standards on this page. We prefer to say this plainly rather than pretend otherwise. Responsibility for everything we publish rests with the publication, not with a tool.
Independence
Editorial coverage is independent of advertising. Paid placements are always labelled “Advertisement”, and advertisers neither see nor influence stories before publication.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it. Significant corrections are made directly in the article, and the story’s updated timestamp reflects the change. To report an error, use the contact form and choose “Correction” — correction requests go straight to the editors’ inbox and are reviewed against the source material.
Images
Every image we publish carries a credit and alt text. If you believe an image has been used in error or without proper attribution, contact us and we will review it promptly.
