LONDON — The Novuna London Diamond League returns to the London Stadium on Saturday, 18 July, with organisers confirming a world-class field and Britain’s Josh Kerr set to chase the mile world record in the Emsley Carr Mile, according to entry lists published by the Wanda Diamond League on 13 July.
Kerr, the Olympic 1500m bronze medallist, is among the headline names listed for the meet, which also features a stacked 800m field and multiple reigning Olympic champions, olympics.com reported on Wednesday. The meeting is the latest stop on the 2026 Wanda Diamond League circuit and forms part of the build-up to the Brussels final later this season.
Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan qualified for the 2026 Diamond League final earlier this week, the Sporting Tribune reported on 15 July, strengthening the women’s hurdles draw in London. Organisers have billed the meet as one of the deepest home fields in recent years.
The London Stadium event carries added significance as British Athletics continues to develop the capital’s track-and-field calendar ahead of future global championship bids. Verified line-up subject to late changes; final results Unverified pending competition.
