DOHA — India's Olympic javelin champion Neeraj Chopra sealed his place at the 2026 Commonwealth Games after throwing 85.69 metres to finish fourth at the Doha Diamond League, according to olympics.com and The Statesman.
The 85.69m effort, in Chopra's first competitive outing since returning to action, cleared the entry standard for Glasgow 2026, multiple outlets reported. Chopra, the Tokyo Olympic gold medallist, told reporters after the event that the throw "felt good," The Statesman said.
