BAKU, Azerbaijan — Rafael Fiziev knocked out Manuel Torres 15 seconds into the second round with a spinning wheel kick and punches to headline UFC Fight Night 280 on June 27 at the National Gymnastics Arena, according to official results published by the UFC.
The lightweight, fighting on home soil, landed the decisive spinning wheel kick before finishing with ground strikes at 0:15 of the second round, the promotion confirmed.
In a closely watched middleweight bout, Sharabutdin Magomedov defeated Michel Pereira by unanimous decision (29–28, 29–28, 29–28). Ikram Aliskerov also won on the scorecards, taking a unanimous decision (30–27 x3) over Brunno Ferreira.
Asu Almabayev submitted Charles Johnson with a Suloev stretch in the third round, while Abusupiyan Magomedov forced a first-round guillotine-choke submission of Michał Oleksiejczuk. Matheus Camilo stopped Nazim Sadykhov via first-round TKO.
Performance-of-the-Night bonuses went to Fiziev, Almabayev, Abdul-Rakhman Yakhyaev and Daniil Donchenko, MMA Junkie reported.
